Find Your Daily Inspiration In Others Who Have Succeeded Before You
Life is a long journey of challenges and how we do is determined by the way we approach those challenges.
As a 35-year-old student, I have had many ups and downs on the journey toward reaching my intellectual potential and at times these challenges have gotten the best of me.
Challenges such as keeping up with family and work commitments while also doubting our abilities.
However, the best you can do is look for inspirational stories that refuel your spirit.
Sometimes during a semester, I get overwhelmed with obligations and think: “what the hell am I still doing in college? I’m too old for this!”
That’s when I search for a story of someone else’s journey and the challenges they went through before achieving their full potential.
The personal story that I find most inspirational is that of Ray Kroc. He’s the man who launched McDonald’s restaurants all around the world and made it into one of the most recognizable brands.
Ray Kroc’s had a long journey that entailed many years of grinding, day in and day out for 52 years before he tasted major success. His journey was filled with hard work and was fueled by his dream.
In his autobiography, he said that “the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
When looking at his story you should implement that concept into your life. Nothing can be accomplished without persistence and determination.
Sometimes all we need is a little push and motivation. Whether that is found by reading about one of the most successful people in the business world or spending time with a person that you look up to.
More importantly, find that thing that will kick you out of bed when nothing else seems to work so you can keep walking toward the road to success.
