The 11th annual Florida Supercon, the largest comic convention in Miami, took place from July 1-July 4 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Supercon, a convention for all things comic books, anime, pop culture, video games and fantasy, accommodated more than 53,000 cosplayers and enthusiasts throughout the course of the weekend. With more than 500,000 feet of convention space, the event had 700 booths, giving fans the opportunity to engage in workshops, panels, vendors, films and shorts and many more activities.
Supercon held its traditional FSC Costume Competition, open for all guests, with more than $5,000 in cash and prizes.
The convention hosted a range of actors like William Shatner ( Star Trek ), Brianna Hildebrand ( Deadpool ), and Nancy Cartwright ( The Simpsons ) .
