Homestead Campus Hosts Professional Clothing Drive For Women

Miami Dade College’s Homestead Campus, in partnership with the Agape Network, a non-profit, faith-based rehabilitation center in Cutler Bay, is accepting professional clothing donations for women until July 31.

Donations, which must be free of stains and tears, can include blouses, slacks, loafers, flats, pumps, purses, belts, scarves and accessories. 

They can be dropped off at building A (first floor), building B (first floor) and building C (second floor), Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pietra Romano

Pietra Romano, 18, is a mass communication/journalism major in The Honors College at Kendall Campus. Romano, who graduated from Miami Sunset Senior High School in 2024, will serve as a briefing writer for The Reporter during the 2024-2025 school year. She aspires to be a television news anchor.
