Kendall Campus’ Learning Commons Accepting Plant Donations

The Learning Commons at Kendall Campus is accepting plant cuttings, recently divided plants and glass and plastic containers until Oct. 18.

Students will be able to adopt the plants on Nov. 4 during a celebration for first generation college students—the theme is “From Seed to Sprout”—on the breezeway near the 2000 building.

“It’s a way to promote sustainability,” said Meredith Krall, associate director of Learning Resources at Kendall Campus. “It gives students the opportunity to take one of the plants and replant it.”

Donations can be dropped off at the Learning Commons from Monday through Thursday between 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday between 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
