Kendall Campus Theater Department Performs The Misanthrope
The Kendall Campus Theater Department is performing The Misanthrope, a comedy that features struggles with love.
The opening night performance is on April 9 at 8 p.m. at the Martin and Pat Fine Center for Arts, Studio Theater Room M113 at Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104 St., in Room M113.
The play focuses on snooty high-class French aristocracy in the 17th century. It exposes the characters’ flaws. The work follows the protagonist Alceste, who is quick to criticize the flaws of everyone around him, including himself, until he meets his love interest Celimene who is the ideal French aristocrat, someone he has criticized. The show is directed by Professor Deborah C. Mello.
