A man was Baker Acted after he threatened to bring a gun to North Campus, according to Miami-Dade Police.
The incident was reported to police at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Classes at North Campus, located at 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., were suspended that evening as a precaution.

In December, Salman Rashid, a former student at MDC, pled guilty in federal court for allegedly plotting an attack against two deans at MDC and Broward College. The attack was being planned in the fall semester, according to court documents.
Last month, a threat was made against public safety officers college-wide.
