Miami Book Fair To Host An Evening With Saxophonist Kenny G

The Miami Book Fair, in partnership with Books & Books, is hosting an evening with saxophonist Kenny G on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. to discuss his biography Life in the Key of G.

It will be held at the Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 1261.

Life in the Key of G gives readers an insider’s perspective on the early life of Kenneth Gorelick, before he became the best-selling instrumentalist of all time.

“It’s always fascinating to talk to people who can practice any kind of art…especially [those of] the creative arts,” said Lissette Mendez, executive director of MBF.

Prior to the event, MBF will host an Endless Summer Party at 4:30 p.m. to honor Kenny G, playing his music and providing attendees with food and drinks.

Tickets for the event cost $28.99 for the public. They can pay by visiting https://tinyurl.com/2w6rxazb. Students can attend for free, but must email lmendez@mdc.edu before Sept. 15.
