New World School of Arts To Present ‘Big Fish’ Musical

New World School of Arts will showcase their musical Big Fish at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15, 16, 22 and 23 at the Louise O. Gerrits Theater, 25 N.E. 2nd St., 8th floor.

There will be two daytime performances on Feb. 17 and Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.

The musical centers around the story of a young man that goes on a journey to find out the truth about his dad’s life after his recent passing.

It will feature students from the New World School of The Arts College Theatre Department. This production is part of the NWSA theatre department’s Main Stage season, which aims to give students the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

Big Fish is adapted from the book of the same title by David Wallace.

Tickets will be available to the general public for $15, and to MDC Students and senior citizens for $10 at nwsa.mdc.edu/event-calendar-at-nwsa-mdc-edu/eventdetail/3588/-/big-fish.html.
