North Campus’ Literary Arts Magazine Tabbed As Pinnacle Award Finalist
For the second year in a row, AXIS has been selected as a Pinnacle Award finalist by the College Media Association in the Two-Year Literary Magazine of the Year category.
“Our graphic design team and editors dedicated so much time to ensure we produced the very best,” said Bianca Jules, the magazine’s editor-in-chief this school year. “I am extremely grateful to have been a part of that process and to see our hard work pay off.”
Judging was based on student work produced during the 2022-23 school year. The issue is the magazine’s 20th edition. It features current student work and excerpts and reflections from the publication’s alumni.
Winners will be announced during the Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association Fall National College Media Convention on Oct. 31 at 4:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
AXIS magazine, which is based at North Campus, was created in 2002. It was a Pinnacle finalist in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 and finished in third-place last year.
