North Campus Offering Advanced Teen Driving Safety Program

The School of Justice, Public Safety and Law Studies at North Campus is offering an advanced teen driving safety program to teach safe driving in high-risk scenarios.

Eligible participants must be between the ages of 16 and 25, have a valid driver’s license and pay a fee of $150. Applications are open to the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The course is a one-day eight-hour class that teaches driving etiquette and defensive driving techniques such as skid control and evasive maneuvers. Classes are divided into a three-hour classroom teaching segment and a five-hour driving class taught at the driving range outside building 17 at North Campus.
