North Campus Selects New Student Life Specialist
Raynel Kinchen was appointed as the Student Life specialist at North Campus on May 22.
Kinchen will manage Student Life’s budget and financial transactions and advise clubs and organizations such as the Student Government Association.
“I really want to help students develop not only into leaders, but into their full potential,” Kinchen said.
Kinchen’s history at Miami Dade College dates back to Kendall Campus, where she served as a student life specialist from 2012 through 2016.
Most recently, the 39-year-old worked at the Concorde Career Institute, serving as a learning resource center coordinator for seven years and as an online success coach for more than three years.
Kinchen graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in English and women’s studies in 2007 and a master’s degree in higher education administration five years later.
