Pianist Tal Cohen To Perform At Wolfson Campus
Pianist Tal Cohen will perform on Oct. 17 at noon at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., Room 1261. The performance is under Miami Dade College’s Jazz at Wolfson Presents Series.
Cohen is an Israeli pianist. He won the Barry Harris Piano Competition in 2014 and the Freedman Fellowship Award in 2015. His most recent album, Gentle Giants, received a four star review from Downbeat Jazz Magazine.
“[Tal Cohen is] an exceptional jazz pianist who brings a unique approach to his performances,” said Michael Di Liddo, founder of the series. “His music and jazz style is intense and has left audiences spellbound. He is a new young talent that has already made a significant mark with his music.”
