STEM Fest 2024 To Be Hosted At West Campus

West Campus, 3800 N.W. 115 Ave., is hosting their third annual School of Science STEM Fest 2024 on Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held in the 1000 building on the third floor.

The event will provide students studying in a STEM field information about potential transfer programs, research opportunities, internships, tutorings, grants and networking.

Among the outside institutions assisting with this year’s STEM FEST 2024: St. Thomas University, Larkin University, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Florida International University, University of Florida, University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University.

Ivette Gomez, 17, is political science major in the Honors College at North Campus. Gomez, who graduated from Colegio Centro América in Nicaragua in 2023, will serve as a briefing writer for The Reporter during the 2024-25 school year. She has a passion for global affairs and aspires to work in the United Nations.
