The Idea Center At Wolfson Campus To Host Code/Art Fest

The Idea Center is hosting their annual Code/Art Fest on March 12 from noon to 6:30 p.m. to recognize the achievements of young female coders and bring awareness to opportunities in the technology field. 

Speakers include Ehi Nosakhare, the senior data and applied science manager at Microsoft, and multi-award-winning technologist, Noelle Silver

Attendees will attend creative coding workshops, see digital art exhibits created by students and professionals, hear student innovators pitch their projects in a ChangeMaker Pitch Competition and celebrate the 2022 winners of the Code/Art’s annual All-Girls Coding Competitions. 

Additionally, 50 people will have the opportunity to receive a free code/art T-shirt.

The Idea Center is located at 315 NE 2nd Ave. on the 5th floor of building 8 at Wolfson Campus.

Lima, who graduated from Miami Lakes Educational Center in 2020, will serve as a forum and briefing writer for The Reporter during 2021-2022 school year. She aspires to become a research and development chemist and work in the pharmaceutical industry.
