Miami Dade College Offers Free Tax Preparation Services

Miami Dade College’s School of Business will offer free tax preparation services for low-income people and non-English speaking residents through the Internal Revenue’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program  from Feb. 6 to April 14.

Services are available in English and Spanish. Customers must arrive one hour before closing to be served and need to bring their social security card, photo ID, W-2 earnings statement, 1099 MISC (for self-employed only), 1099 INT and any documents for expenses or credits to be claimed.

Kendall and North Campus services will be available from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, from Feb. 6 to April 12. Kendall Campus,11011 S.W. 104 St., will assist customers in the computer courtyard in Room 2120 and North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave., will assist customers in Room 3101.

Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., will offer tax preparation services from Feb. 6 to April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Room location to be announced.

InterAmerican Campus, 627 S.W. 27 Ave., will assist customers in Room 3207 on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Feb. 7 to April 11.

Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace, will host tax preparation services on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Feb. 10 to April 14 in Room D-307.

Hialeah Campus, 1776 W. 49 St., will assist customers in Room 2413 on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Feb. 13 to April 10.
