Homer Vallejo Selected To Oversee New Student Center At Kendall Campus

Homer Vallejo has been tabbed as the director of the New Student Center at Kendall Campus. He starts his new post on Aug. 30.

Vallejo, 33, will oversee the recruitment, testing and international student services departments. He has served as director of recruitment services at North Campus for the past six months and prior to that served as a senior staff associate at North Campus since 2019.

“I hope to be an effective leader to the team and to promote a sense of growth and success for students and employees alike,” Vallejo said.

Before joining the College, Vallejo served four years in various capacities at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri, including as a wrestling coach and an undergraduate admissions counselor.

In 2010, he graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in sports administration and received his master’s degree in education from Lindenwood University seven years later.
