Homestead Campus Selects New Student Life Director

Dandria Alexis Gray was selected as the new student life director at Homestead Campus. She started her role on Jan. 18. 

Gray, 39, will focus on increasing student engagement at the campus with faculty and staff through the creation and management of events.

“I would like to spread kindness over the campus and encourage creativity,” Gray said. “[To] keep up with the Homestead Campus vibe of being a family-oriented campus.”

Prior to becoming director, Gray served as an instructional assistant II at Homestead Campus for two years. She has also served as an administrative assistant at Miami Dade College.

Gray previously worked as a library assistant in the Miami-Dade County Public Library System for seven years and a school board program coordinator for three years.  

She has an associates degree from MDC, a bachelor’s of applied science degree in public administration from Florida International University and a master’s of science degree in organizational leadership from Union Institute & University.
