NWSA To Perform The Lieutenant Of Inishmore

New World School of Arts is presenting the play The Lieutenant of Inishmore by Martin McDonough at Wolfson Campus, 25 N.E. Second St., at the Louise O. Gerrits Theater. 

Opening night will be Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Additional performances will be held on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The Lieutenant of Inishmore is a satirical comedy that follows sociopathic Irish Republican Army member Padraic and his quest to avenge his cat’s murder. It takes place in Inishmore, a region of Ireland, in 1993.

“We are working to create the next generation of artists and future colleagues,” said James Randolph, the director of the play.

The play is intended for audience members who are at least 18 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
