Dylan O’Brien To Receive Vanguard Award At Miami Film Festival GEMS

Actor Dylan O’Brien will receive the Miami Film Festival’s Vanguard Award at the Bill Cosford Cinema, 5030 Brunson Drive, on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. 

O’Brien’s career in entertainment spans 14 years, with performances at the 2010’s MTV show Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner franchise, Deepwater Horizon, Bumblebee, and his latest film, Twinless.  

The event is part of the Miami Film Festival GEMS. O’Brien will receive the award during a Q&A session about Twinless, a dark comedy directed and co-starred by James Sweeney. The film will be screened prior to the event.

In its 12th year, Miami Film Festival GEMS will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5. The fall film showcase lets film enthusiasts view the year’s most fascinating movies.
