Former Colombian President Andres Pastrana To Visit Wolfson Campus

The Center for Literature and Theater at Miami Dade College is presenting an evening with former Colombian President Andres Pastrana on  March 4 at 7 p.m. at the Wolfson Campus Auditorium,300 NE 2nd Ave., in Building 1 (second floor).

Pastrana will discuss his memoir Andres Pastrana: Forgotten Memories. Among the topics included are his kidnapping by notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar, as well as explaining the origins of the “narco-cassettes,” tape-recordings that investigate how drug cartels bought the Presidential Election in 1994, and much more.

The event is free and open to the public.
