Kendall Campus Aims For Students To “Lead From The Heart”

As part of the Miami Dade College Lead series, Kendall Campus will host Joshua Fredenburg, a leadership and diversity consultant, relationship expert and author of five books. On Nov. 30, from noon to 1 p.m., Fredenburg will speak about “Leading From The Heart,” in Room 402 of building R.

“These leadership and service programs are designed to connect students with issues of personal, civic and social responsibilities,” said Lauren Adamo, Student Life Director at Kendall Campus. “Through participation in these events, students will develop problem solving, creative thinking skills and ethical decision making. Most employers are looking for students with these skills, so while what you learn in the classroom is important, further developing your skills outside of the classroom is essential.”

Any MDC student is welcome to attend the session. Admission and parking is free on campus. For more information, contact the Student Life Department at Kendall Campus (305) 237-2321 or email Lauren Adamo at ladamo@mdc.edu.
