MDC Launches Emergency Preparedness Education App

Miami Dade College now has a “In Case of Crisis- Education” app.

The app was launched on Jan. 10 and is available to students, faculty and staff.

The app gives emergency procedures and instructions that can potentially save lives.

“This app provides all MDC personnel the “cliff notes” of our emergency response procedures,” said Tony Bradley, Director of Emergency Preparedness.

It can be downloaded at the Google Play Store or the Apple App store.

One must type in “In Case of Crisis-Education” in the search and click on download.

Then on the app, scroll down to Miami Dade College and click Emergency Procedures.

“In Case of Crisis- Emergency” is free of charge and can be used on any smartphone or tablet.
