Miambiance And Urbana Named Crown Finalists

Two Miami Dade College publications—Miambiance and Urbana—have been selected as Crown Finalists for the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 2022 Awards in the Collegiate Recipients category.

Crown Finalists were selected based on work published during the 2020-21 school year. Finalists are considered winners, not nominees, and will be announced as either Gold Crowns or Silver Crowns at the CSPA ceremonies in March.

Miambiance is the literary arts magazine at Kendall Campus, which was launched in 1989. They were awarded the Silver Crown in 2021 and 2016.

Urbana, founded in 2007, is the hybrid literary arts magazine at Eduardo J. Padrón Campus. They were awarded the Gold Crown in 2021.
