North Campus To Offer New Artificial Intelligence And Ethics Course

Next Spring semester, MDC Live is introducing a new course—Artificial Intelligence and Ethics (PHI 26800).

Led by North Campus assistant philosophy professor Darell Arnold, the course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:50 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.

Instruction will focus on exploring the ethics of the development, implementation and administration of artificial intelligence and how it will impact humanity’s future.

The course, which offers tuition reimbursement through the Javier Coto Scholarship, will be part of the AI Awareness College Credit Certificate Program that is expected to launch next Fall semester.
