SGA Elections Taking Place

Miami Dade College students will soon get to cast their votes.

Student Government Association elections will be held from April 9 to 11 at all eight MDC campuses.

All registered MDC students with a valid MDC identification card can cast their ballots at their respective home campuses If the student is enrolled in multiple campuses, they may vote  at each campus they attend.

Students can also vote online at www.elections.mymdc.net.

Open positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, public relations director and government relations director. Elective positions vary by campus.

Official results will be announced toward the end of the spring semester. Elected candidates will take office during the summer term.

Mark Pulaski, 29, is pursuing a bachelor of applied science degree in Film, Television & Digital Production in the School of Entertainment & Design Technology at the North Campus. He is currently serving as a staff writer of The Reporter. He was previously the editor-in-chief in addition to overseeing the A&E section and the Multimedia department.
