The Influencers Hits The MDC Museum Of Art + Design

The Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design, located at 600 Biscayne Blvd., is currently holding an exhibition titled The Influencers I: Prominent Works from the MDC Permanent Art Collection.

The exhibition features influential works of art from the late 1700s through the mid 1900s and highlights eighteen works by thirteen of history’s most prominent artists: Benjamin West, Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes and Honoré Daumier, are one of the many artists that have their works on display.

In addition, visitors will also gain an insight into both the artistic media and experimental methods used by the artists.

The essence of the historic “Renaissance Man” is also portrayed during this exhibition.

The MDC Museum of Art + Design hopes its exhibitions will help visitors understand and appreciate art.

The exhibition is open through July 12 on Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public.
