Three MDC Students Land Federal Internship

Three Miami Dade College students will intern at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Miami this fall.

Selected for the program were Patrice Warner, a criminal justice major at the North Campus; Lashanda Gould, a paralegal studies major at Wolfson Campus; and Julian Mendoza, a criminal justice major at North Campus.

The students were selected based on their good academic standing and their future goals of working in federal office.

“The students will work with the government officers that take care of the Fair Housing and Discrimination Act,” said Jenny Gamboa, the MDC district advisor who connected the students to the HUD.
