Sporty

For those whose dates consist of walks in the park, tennis matches and going to the gym—this one’s for you.

A pink elastane mock neck shirt with hearts, combined with a white tennis skirt and any pair of white running shoes, gives you a cute yet sporty look for any outdoor activity.

Accessories to pair this outfit with are a red scrunchie (especially when it’s in a ponytail) and a pair of red socks (bonus points if they’re Valentine’s Day themed).

Athletic stores such as Nike and Adidas are the best places to get any athletic clothing, while Shein has the best picks for creative tops.

Elegant

Want to feel glamorous but minimalistic for a night out on a fancy date?

An outfit that consists of any red dress along with a white blazer (oversized or not—the choice is yours), paired with white gogo boots and a red beret is a perfect choice.

To keep its simplicity, it’s best not to add any accessories—the outfit is enough to make your date fall head over heels.

Nasty Gal and Princess Polly are the go-to stores that carry these outfit pieces.

Casual

For the non-fancy dates or a hangout at the mall with your friends, looking fabulous while still feeling comfortable is your goal.

A pink corset top paired with a low-waisted mini denim skirt (Y2K style, preferably), tights (skin tone or pink can work) and pink chunky sneakers will help you achieve that goal.

An accessory such as a heart-shaped bag, either in pink or red, will give the outfit a love themed touch.

This look can be easily found on Amazon or secondhand selling sites such as Depop or Poshmark.

Preppy

Inspired by Cher Horowitz—the main character from the 1995 film Clueless—this outfit is a long sleeved collared shirt, with a pink vest over it, paired with a pink and white tartan skirt along with knee high socks and any black shoes of your choice.

This chic outfit will have you feeling like a million bucks as you stroll around expensive places with your significant other.

Additional accessories to add is a signature white headband and a cute little rose pen.

This outfit can easily be found in retail stores like Target, Forever 21, or even while thrifting at Goodwill.

Loungewear

Staying home for Valentines Day but still want to look cute doing it? Not a problem.

Stay in bed and eat a whole box of chocolate at home by yourself, with friends or even your significant other while wearing the perfect monochromatic outfit: a matching pink hearts pajama set with matching pink slippers and a pink sleeping mask.

You can easily find any Valentine’s Day themed pajamas at Ross or Marshalls—for an affordable price too.
