Sunny days and warm beaches—summer doesn’t get any better than that.

With the new season approaching comes new outfit choices that will leave you feeling hot, and not the sweaty kind.

Say hello to summer while wearing these four summer fashion trends.

Crochet

Fall and winter was spent wearing large, knitted sweaters and vests. Now that it’s summer, crochet fashion items are back in style.

As this so-called “grandma activity” became popular, many tops, dresses, bucket hats, skirts and bags have all been crocheted into a complete outfit.

Any handmade crochet item can be easily found on sites such as Depop or can even be made in the comfort of your home.

Floral Print

Floral print has always been a staple in summer fashion, and it is one that will never go out of style.

With distinct floral prints such as hibiscus becoming popular on TikTok, it’s no doubt that this will be a trend with teens and young adults this summer.

A floral print top can be best paired with shorts or a terry cloth skirt, while floral dresses can go with any chunky sandals. Floral can be easily found at a thrift store, but it can also be found in stores such as Zara.

Halter Dresses

Halter style clothing has returned to the trend cycle after being prominent in cropped tank tops in 2016. Now, they’re mostly seen in dresses.

Halter dresses—whether they’re big and flowy, or small and tight-fitting—are comfortable for the warm weather, leaving you feeling like the goddess of the sun.

These dresses can be found in stores like ASOS and Princess Polly

Chunky Sandals

Want to look taller? Chunky sandals are for you.

Chunky sandals can be easily paired with anything, whether it’s jeans, skirts or a dress. Their comfort and durability is perfect for days spent walking around during a summer vacation.

They are found anywhere, from in-person stores such as Target to online stores like Nasty Gal.
